Patient Access Representative (55881)

HOURS:     8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

PAY RATE:   $15.00/hr.+ DOE

CPS Recruitment is partnering with a well-known, non-profit health center in Syracuse, NY to find a Patient Access Representative to assist their team!

This is a temporary position with the potential to become a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Register patients for office visits and telehealth visits
• Collect co-payments
• Verify insurance
• Answer telephone calls
• Other clerical duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of medical office or customer service experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
• Experience with EPIC scheduling, PHS/HPF and medical knowledge preferred
