A local CNY law firm has a great opportunity for an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to work from their Syracuse, Rochester or Buffalo locations.

In this Paralegal role, you will work closely with Attorneys, Docket Clerks and other team members to maintain and monitor patent and trademark dockets and manage all incoming actions from the USPTO.

Background Profile

• Paralegal degree or other degree with equivalent experience
• IP Paralegal or clerk with at least 4+ years of experience with patent docketing
• Experience with electronic filing of Patents and Trademarks
• Familiarity with rules and procedures of the USPTO a strong plus
• Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of professionalism with the ability to interact with clients is also a must.
