Content Marketing Manager

$60 – 100K DOE – Partial Remote

CPS Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly growing software company in the Syracuse, NY area to find a Content Marketing Manager.

As the Content Marketing Manager you will develop creative content and present strategic recommendations to drive the internal and external marketing strategies, messaging, branding, and communications plan for the company.

As the Marketing Manager, some of your key functions will be:

• Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives
• Analysis of the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, and retention
• Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes.
• Formulate cross-platform content strategies.
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
  • Manage content across all platforms, including email and social media. Build a social media following.
• Support Sales with lead generation activities and marketing campaign follow-up 
• Facilitate internal marketing activities and communications.

Background Profile

• 6+ years of relevant marketing experience
• Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills. Experience with business writing a must
• Working knowledge of developing marketing and creative plans
• Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communication, or a related field.
• Expertise with online marketing, social media, and content marketing
• Previous experience in SEO work, keyword research/identification or copywriting highly desired
