CPS Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious Healthcare Insurance Company to recruit a Graphic Designer to become a vital part of their marketing team. This individual will focus on design, layout production, digital ads, photography printing, and updating their internal digital library. This opportunity is a temporary contract for a Full-Time position working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. The contract period runs through 12/312023 and would work REMOTELY. Qualified candidates must reside in the Syracuse or Rochester, NY areas. While on contract, employees will have access to internal job boards of this client to apply and interview for other permanent roles.

Compensation for the Graphic Designer role will be $25 - $28/hr - depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer:

• Providing creative services and graphic support including printed materials, signage, and displays
• Assisting with creative services management and staff on design elements, layout, and coordination of outside sources of material and talent
• Updating and tracking maintenance of Creative Services logs
• Offering suggestions for branding strategies and ensuring compliance within company regulations and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Background Profile of the Graphic Designer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Art or Communications
• 3-5+ years of experience in the field
• MUST have a Portfolio
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with other team members and create advertisements
• Previous experience with Macbook Pro including Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Cloud, InDesign)
• 508 compliance and knowledge preferred
• Vaccinated for COVID-19
