CPS Recruitment is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for one of the leading hospitals in the Syracuse, NY area. This hospital is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to their patients and is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. This would be for a full-time 13 week contract with eligibility to extend upon demonstration of a positive performance. Hours for this contract role are 11p – 7:30a with a pay rate of $25/hr and would require being scheduled every other weekend.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide exceptional patient care by:

• Performing direct and indirect nursing care activities including assisting with procedures, initiating CPR, assisting with admitting, transfer, and discharge process
• Coordinating with other members of the treatment team to implement care plans
• Analyzing and reporting behavioral patterns to treatment team members and documentation in EMR system
• Problem solving and participating in quality improvement
• Other duties as assigned or needed

Background Profile for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Current New York State certification
• Ability to be certified/re-certified in CPR
• 1+ year of patient care experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance including drug screen and background check
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of J&J)

The compensation range for this Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) opportunity is $25/hr.
