Accountant

We are currently seeking an Accountant for a reputable non-profit agency company in the Syracuse, NY area.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of Medicare and Medicaid regulatory reports
• Reconciliation of accounts, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
• Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Monthly financial statements
• Annual reports

 

Qualifications Profile:

• 3+ years of related experience, including Medicare and Medicaid reporting
• Experience with Accounting Software Applications
• Strong MS Office and Excel skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• BS in Accounting or Finance

Compensation:

• $70,000 - $80,000 per year
