We are looking for an Accounting Manager in the Saratoga Springs, NY area who is looking to assist our client with their accurate record keeping and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements. This position is Monday – Thursday, 7:00am – 5:30pm. Fridays off if it isn’t the high volume and busy season. 40+ Fridays off! This team is working REMOTELY with one or two days in the office a week depending on business needs.

The compensation range for this Accounting Manager opportunity is $80,000 - $90,000 Depending on Experience.

As an Accounting Manager, you will ensure the overview and accurate recording of all financial documents:

• Confirm accuracy of financial statements to make sure they are ready for quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Help prepare and review SEC filings
• Oversee a six member accounts payable team
• Review all treasury, AR, AP, and payroll transactions
• Serve as the ERP accounting liaison and prepare annual 1099’s and other various mandated company surveys
• Help the Assistant Treasurer and CFO on projects as assigned

Background Profile for an Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, manufacturing preferred
• Background in SEC reporting a plus!
• Previous work with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) internal control compliance programs a plus!
• Leadership experience with a strong attention to detail
• High level of proficiency with Excel
