Applications Engineer (65 - 85K)

We are hiring for an Applications Engineer at a fast-growing HVAC Product Manufacturer in the North Syracuse, NY area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Developing commercial applications of air purification systems
• Provide preliminary filter selections for commercial projects
• Provide technical support for Manufacturing/Engineering/Sales/Aftermarket
• Assures the accuracy and completeness of all drawings, files, engineering records, prints, and tasks of assigned projects
• Implementation into Production
• Perform root cause analysis and work toward resolution
• Design and source new products
• Complete special projects as required (i.e. REA’s, testing, and commercial)

Job Skills Requirements:

• Ability to handle client and customer issues tactfully and professionally
• Proficient in creating 2D and 3D parts in CAD software, Inventor Preferred
• Advanced math, reading and computer skills (Microsoft Office suite) are required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and motivate a diverse group of employees
• Knowledge of HVAC industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in HVAC industry
• Strong technical skills, communication skills and problem-solving skills
