Automation - Maintenance Technician ($25 – 35 p.hr)

Due to growth, we have Multiple Direct Hire openings available for Automation / Maintenance Technicians to work for an established CNY leading Manufacturer. 

Shifts Available:

Day shift:             6AM – 6PM | 3 days one week, 4 days the next week

Night shift:          6PM – 6AM | 3 days one week, 4 days the next week

2^nd shift:               2PM – 10PM | M-F

3^rd shift:               10PM – 6AM | M-F

Position Level and Duties:

Level I:

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on automation equipment
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair

Level II:

• Train Level I Technicians on tasks and procedures

• Perform wiring, qualification testing, and advanced level troubleshooting

Level III

• Train and assist Level I and II Technicians
• Interface with customers and vendors on technical automation requirements
• Advanced qualification testing on equipment
• Edit and revise basic automation design
• Obtain refurbish and repair quotes and coordinate those projects

Education and Experience:

• Electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshoot skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and blueprints
• Level I - HS Diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience
• Level II - AAS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related and 3-5+ years of experience
• Level III - AAS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related and 5+ years of related experience
