Batchmaker (57467)

HOURS: 7 AM – 4PM – Monday - Friday

PAY RATE: $16-17/hr.

CPS Recruitment is partnering with a well-known manufacturer located in Oriskany, NY to find Batchmakers to join their team! Join a stable, essential business that is focused on exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Review batch tickets of formula to be produced for procedure, special notes, familiarity, accuracy and safety equipment required.
• Check for preparedness of all process kettles, mixers, holding tanks or other equipment to be used in batchmaking process.
• Check and verify against batch ticket all materials ordered
• Add materials to batches as per ticket instructions, notifying supervisor of any problems or mistakes  
• Accurate completion of documentation of batch production
• Transfer batch after completion, ensuring preparedness of transfer vessel
• At end of run clean all equipment used
• Keep batchmaking area clean and organized
• Perform all routine maintenance on batchmaking equipment including oiling, greasing, cleaning, etc.
• Assist in packaging as required, particularly in the production of bulk orders

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, with 1+ year of manufacturing experience
• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume facility adhering to all safety precautions and procedures
• Attention to detail and ability to focus is a must
