CNC Machining Engineer (80-100K)

We are seeking a CNC Machining Engineer to work for an industry leading manufacturer in Syracuse, NY. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Key Duties include:         
  • Create manufacturing processes in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Use FEA to design and test new and existing machinery programs, tools, and fixtures.
  • Conduct process improvement opportunities and document results (tooling, speeds, feeds, fixtures, and process sheets).
  • Write job instructions and train CNC machinists on manufacturing processes.
  • Use statistical methods to track machining trends and identify cost reduction (tooling costs, or machine scrap).
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing) preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in machining environments.
  • Able to program CNC Machinery (Mastercam, Solidworks, Fusion 360).
  • Basic computer programming knowledge (C++, MATLAB, Python).
