CNC Maintenance Mechanic (57364)

HOURS: 1^st Shift

PAY RATE: $30.61/hr.

CPS Recruitment is partnering with an established company located in Cortland NY, to find a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! This direct hire position won’t last long. Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Observe operating machines to diagnose malfunctions, need for adjustments, and/or repairs
• Perform electrical and mechanical repair of production machining equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery.
• Maintain a record of maintenance and repair activities in the company database
• Perform maintenance and repair machines and attachments
• Train operators in the use, care, and adjustment of tooling and attachments.
• Order, expedite, and receive parts for machine repair.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in CNC machining equipment repair and operation, including motors, control electronics, spindles, ballscrews, guideways, sensors, and switches.
• Knowledge of CNC control diagnostics, ladder diagrams, and PLCs.
• Working knowledge in the repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work from schematics, technical documents, and guides.
• Ability to work overtime as needed in support of production operations.
• Ability to Bend, stoop or crouch, kneel or crawl
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
