CNC Mill Machinist (57868)

HOURS:       1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm

PAY RATE:   $25-29/hr. DOE

Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for all set-ups on 4 CNC mills, as well as the operation of up to 2 simultaneously when all set-ups are complete
• Read and interpret drawings and work instructions
• Measure parts using various inspection instruments
• Communicate and follow up with Process Engineer on issues
• Mentor and assist Operators
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Utilize available cycle time to contribute to deburr activity, machine care, and 5S
• Maintain associated documents to capture productivity and quality performance
• Monitor and change out tooling as needed
• Maintain and refill machine fluids as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• 2 to 4+ years CNC experience with 2 years setting up mills
• Information retention and initiative to keep notes when necessary
• Motivation and eagerness to learn
• Good math skills
