We are partnering with a well-established equipment company local to Syracuse, NY that is looking to bring on a new Collections Specialist. This is a well-respected organization looking for a team player to help grow with them. This is a Temp-To-Hire opportunity paying $20-21/hr, depending on experience and the team is looking to start someone immediately! Hours are Monday – Friday, 8a-4:30p.
As a Collections Specialist, you will:
- Monitor client accounts to identify overdue payments
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer contact information
- Serve as liaison between customers and internal departments
- Review credit applications, credit limits, and credit overrise requests
- Create monthly reports to communicate to progress with leadership team
- Serve as backup Accounts Receivable Specialist as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Background Profile for a Collections Specialist:
- 3+ years of experience in credit and collections roles
- Experienced with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet software. AS400 knowledge is a plus!
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
Compensation for this Collections Specialist is $20-21/hr, and is Temp-To-Hire!
