Are you an experienced financial leader looking to make a strategic impact? We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee all financial operations, manage an accounting team, and provide key insights to drive business growth for a well-respected firm in Syracuse, NY. Reporting to the COO, this role is essential for ensuring financial accuracy and supporting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP. Manage month-end close processes and audits.
• Financial Analysis: Provide data-driven insights, maintain forecasting models, and assist in business planning.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, setting clear goals and expectations.
• Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with external partners, manage cash flow, and stay updated on accounting regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in GAAP, ERP systems (especially Quicken Enterprise), and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
