Director of Investment Planning
$90K - $130K, based on experience

We are seeking a Director of Investment Planning for a pivotal role within a financial services firm in Syracuse, NY.  This position offers excellent growth opportunity, outstanding benefits, and a supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead investment strategy and planning efforts, staying ahead of market trends
• Collaborate with wholesalers, fund managers, and make informed recommendations on new funds
• Provide investment guidance from large-scale client holdings to individual 401K advice
• Meet weekly with the investment policy committee and report models to the board
• Contribute to the investment newsletter, showcasing strong writing skills
• Work in a close-knit office covering both investments and benefits

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership in investment planning
• Expertise in asset allocation, risk management, and market research
• Ability to advise on a wide range of investment strategies
• Excellent written communication skills
• CFA strongly preferred
• Strong work history with longevity in previous roles
