CPS Recruitment is looking for candidates for a great new opportunity as a Financial Analyst II for a Healthcare Insurance Company. This opportunity is a Full-Time position working Monday through Friday typically 8:30am-5pm. This is a contract role through 12/29/2023, however there is contract to permanent potential for this role - depending on internal needs at that time. This is a REMOTE opportunity but candidates must live in New York State.

Compensation for the Financial Analyst II role will be $60,000 - $70,000 annually - depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst II:

• Analyzing and interpreting financial records and reports to review and assess financial estimates as was as presenting findings to management team
• Preparing and analyzing quarterly and annual regulatory filings
• Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Creating relationships across department to better resolve and support issues as they arise including acting as a consultant to management at all levels

Background Profile of the Financial Analyst II:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• MBA or CPA preferred but not required
• 2+ years of experience in similar financial analyst roles required
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
