CPS Recruitment is looking for candidates for a great new opportunity as a Financial Analyst for an established manufacturing company in East Syracuse, NY. This opportunity is an approximately 3-month temporary Full-Time position working Monday through Friday with hours between 8am - 5pm. There is potential for this to turn into a permanent placement. This is a REMOTE opportunity that requires flexibility to work from the office during the two-week training portion.

Compensation for the Financial Analyst role will be $25 – $30/hr - depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:

• Collaborating with Management team to update pricing tables and create pricing reports
• Managing documentation and report creation including open order reports, customer consignment reports, monthly sales reports, and others using Dashboard and SAP
• Reviewing historical sales and maintaining Access database tables to assist with future predictions
• Assisting with month-end/year-end closing processes including reconciliations and reviewing of plant financials

Background Profile of the Financial Analyst:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or similar
• 1+ years' experience in similar Accounting/Financial Analyst role
• Experience working with SAP preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience with pricing, reporting, and forecasting is preferred
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and other statistical analysis software - specifically experience with Excel
