If you’re looking for an exciting HR Assistant opportunity working for an innovative, fast-paced company located in Syracuse, NY, this may be the job for you! CPS Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic organization to find a Human Resources Assistant to become a vital part of their team!

This is a temporary opportunity expected to last through at least July 2022. This organization is growing quickly and is looking for additional support when it comes to recruiting and onboarding new employees! This position is Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm. Potential for Fridays off!

PAY RATE: $18.00/hr.

As an HR Assistant, you will provide exceptional support by:

  • Utilize an applicant tracking system (ATS) to post and manage job openings, candidate records, recruiting reports and dashboards
  • Coordinate and manage scheduling for interviews, providing an excellent experience to everyone you interact with daily
  • Act as the face of the company and meet candidates who are onsite for interviews
  • Work closely with internal hiring teams to collect feedback from interviews
  • Prepare job offers and training schedules for new hires
  • Track recruiting activities and provide weekly status reports
  • Serve as the point of contact with external agency partners
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving the candidate experience

Background Profile of the HR Assistant:

  • You must have an outgoing and professional demeanor both in person and on the telephone
  • 1+ year of recruiting or Human Resources experience and exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and database programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
