CPS Recruitment is partnering with a nationwide distribution retailer in Frankfurt, NY to recruit a Human Resources Assistant to become a vital part of their team! This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing company and further your career.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. This organization is growing quickly and is looking for additional support when it comes to recruiting and onboarding new employees! This position can be either Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday from 10am-6pm or 9am-5pm.

PAY RATE: $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

As an Human Resources Assistant, you will provide exceptional support by:

• Screening employees for COVID-19 including testing
• Assisting employees with COVID-19 isolation questions and concerns
• Helping employees enroll in healthcare benefits during open enrollment periods
• Serving as the point of contact when employees have payroll related questions
• Identifying opportunities for improving the candidate experience
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Background Profile of the Human Resources Assistant:

• You must have an outgoing and professional demeanor both in person and on the telephone
• 1+ year of recruiting or Human Resources or administrative experience and exceptional customer service skills
• Associates degree in Human Resources preferred but will take experience in lieu of degree
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and database programs
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
