IT Director  $125-135K + Bonus Program

Due to a promotion, CPS Recruitment is looking for an IT Director for a growing company in the Syracuse, NY area.

As the IT Director, you will oversee network infrastructure, with an emphasis on MS Azure and Cloud concepts.  You will lead a team of six managers who in turn oversee 50 direct reports and support a network and systems for over 3000 people.

Specific duties will include:

 

• Working with the CTO to identify and recommend new technologies, accelerating the company’s technology capabilities
• Ensuring that all IT related issues are taken care of in a timely manner and displays/promotes a customer service-oriented approach
• Controlling and/or reducing Information Technology costs, improving productivity through automation, and ensuring the IT infrastructure is available and reliable
• Working with Information Security to ensure a strong security posture exists.
• Some travel required

 

Requirements for this role include:

 

• BS in computer science or related field, advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience and knowledge of managing development teams
• Demonstrated high level proficiency in Exchange, Citrix and VDI infrastructures, with an acute understanding of VMWare and cloud concepts; Emphasis on the Microsoft Azure stack is required.
• Must have strong technical aptitude to be able to assist with complex network, server and application issues
