Lead Machinist / Toolmaker (56270)

HOURS:  1st shift 7:15am - 3:45pm, Monday - Friday

PAY RATE:  DOE

This progressive company is seeking a  Lead CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join their team.

Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Write and/or modify CNC programs
• Develop tooling to enhance the efficiency of setups and runtimes and provide input on process improvement
• Work with Engineering to develop, improve, and document methods and processes for new and existing machined parts
• Troubleshoot problems and determine working solutions to complete tasks
• Work closely with Plant Supervisor to prioritize work and communicate job assignments to the rest of the department

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years machining experience, including manual & CNC lathes, manual and CNC mills, and drill press experience preferred
• Experience programming in G-Code with & without the aid of CAM software
• Blueprint reading and mechanical ability
• Solid use of all relevant precision measuring tools
• High School diploma or GED
