Machine Operator (57433)

HOURS:  1st shift 6am- 3:30pm (Mon -Thurs) and 6am- 10am (Friday)
                2nd shift: 3:00pm-1:30am (Mon-Thurs)

PAY RATE: $17-18/hr  DOE

An established, fast paced manufacturer in Syracuse NY, is partnering with CPS Recruitment to find Machine Operator to join their team!

This temp-to-hire position offers first shift hours, great benefits once hired on, and paid time off!

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Operate machinery safely according to company policies
• Follow job specifications as detailed on the job card
• Record start and completion of jobs
• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process inspection
• Advise lead operator or plant manager of shortfalls in quality and temporarily suspends production until issue is resolved

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of machine operator experience
• Basic math and language skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Mechanical aptitude
• A high school diploma or GED
