CPS Recruitment is looking for candidates for a great new opportunity as an Operations Analyst for a Healthcare Insurance Company. As an Operations Analyst, you will assist with the processing and analysis of COBRA and Premium Billing subsidies and payments. This opportunity is a Full-Time REMOTE position working Monday through Friday with hours between 8am - 5pm. This is a strict contract opportunity running through mid-April 2022.

This is a REMOTE role that requires the candidate to work in New York State. Computer equipment will be provided but a high-speed internet connection will be required.

Compensation for the Operations Analyst role will be $27 - $34/hr - depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Operations Analyst:

• Assist with the reconciliation of COBRA and premium accounts
• Investigate, analyze, and monitor operational issues in the financial balancing activities
• Perform financial analysis and reconciliation between external carrier data and the company’s internal software systems
• Manage the COBRA and Premium Billing subsidy and negative balance processing as well as the refund process
• Other functions as assigned

Background Profile of the Operations Analyst:

• Associate degree in Business related field (or 5+ years’ experience in health insurance or financial field instead)
• 3+ years’ experience working in insurance or financial related fields
• Strong analytical as well as written and verbal communication skills
• Healthcare industry experience preferred – especially knowledge of COBRA Administration
• Able to use a computer and an office telephone for extended periods of time
