Production Assembler (57000)

HOURS:        1st shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30 pm

PAY RATE:    $15/hr - raise to $15.50 after 90 days!

CPS Recruitment is partnering with a highly reputable company located in Manlius, NY, to find Production Assemblers for an immediate need!

In this role you will assemble product using automated equipment or standard manual assembly tools and techniques.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Pack, label and palletize cartons. Responsible for quality and quantity produced
• Operate automated equipment or manual equipment to produce product following standard work instructions and production standards
• Retrieve materials required to maintain production levels
• Capture production data
• Maintain equipment in good working order; inspect equipment and product following standard work instructions; alert Production Supervisor of any quality issues with either equipment or product in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to use a pallet jack and stacker
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
