Parts and Cleaning Support Associate (58124)

HOURS:    1st shift (Mon - Thurs 5am to 3pm)
2nd shift (Mon - Thurs 3pm to 1am)
                   
PAY RATE: $15.50/hr. (plus 10% differential for 2nd shift)

CPS Recruitment is partnering with an established company in East Syracuse, NY to find a Parts and Cleaning Support Associate to join their team!

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide support to the Screw Machine Department by cleaning work areas and providing materials
• Cut and dispose of scrap material
• Pull chips, bar ends, and wash pans from production floor
• Provide general machine maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous machine shop experience preferred
• Must have the ability to use gauges and measuring devices
• Ability to work in oily and noisy environment with fluctuations in temperature
• General math and computer skills
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail
