We have a direct hire opportunity available for a Patient Access Supervisor with a prestigious Hospital in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a fast-paced position that offers great opportunities for growth and development. This is a Direct Hire position, so we’ll help you get on our client’s payroll from Day 1! We are looking for a supervisor to work on the evening shift, Monday – Friday – weekends off!
 

Compensation for the Patient Access Supervisor role is $65,000 - $75,000, Depending on Experience!

As a Patient Access Supervisor, you will provide exceptional customer service by:

• Overseeing all Patient Access Representatives working during the designated shift and attending to their questions and concerns
• Ensuring pre-registration, insurance verification, and chart processing are completed efficiently and accurately by team members
• Scheduling staff members based on availability and contributing to hiring conversations when additional staff is needed
• Training and developing new hires to meet the facility’s standards of operations
• Communicating with clinical staff and other departments to ensure a seamless experience for patients
• Other duties as assigned

Background Profile for a Patient Access Supervisor:

• Associate’s degree and 2+ years in a medical administrative role doing healthcare admitting, billing, business office, or equivalent experience
• High School Diploma and 4+ years in a medical administrative role doing healthcare admitting, billing, business office, or other equivalent experience
• Strong computer knowledge including use of Word, Excel, and Windows
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous leadership experience overseeing a team of individuals with experience delegating and making decisions
