Syracuse NY Contract To Hire $23.00 - $25.00

CPS Recruitment is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join a well-established company in Syracuse, NY.

This Payroll Administrator role is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in this exciting temp-to-hire role.

In this position, you will handle a variety of payroll, HR, and accounting related responsibilities, including:

  • Weekly payroll for 40-50 people
  • Manage new hire orientation and benefits enrollments
  • Maintain vacation, sick and PTO records for employees
  • Create purchase orders for supplies and raw materials
  • Receive materials into SAP and reconcile inventory
  • Invoice processing
  • General administrative tasks

Requirements include the following:

  • 1+ year of related experience processing payrolls, union experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement
  • Familiarity with benefits enrollment process, ADP Workforce, SAP, and processing invoices for payment

The ideal fit is someone who can balance multiple priorities and demonstrate initiative while operating within a close team environment.

Pay Rate is $23-25 per hour dependent upon education and experience, with a pay increase when hired on.
