CPS Recruitment is seeking Platers to join a leading company in plating and finishing services. These are direct hire opportunities offering competitive pay and great benefits!

First shift 6:00am – 2:30pm OR
Second shift 2:15pm – 10:45 pm

$18+ /hr DOE

Responsibilities:

• Perform plating/finishing functions according to traveler instructions under supervision.
• Provide input for process improvements through the submission of Process Improvement Forms (PIFs) to superiors.
• Maintain accurate counts of parts in each order and account for own time accurately in the appropriate system.
• Regularly clean racks to optimize workflow and increase productivity.
• Perform daily tank maintenance tasks, including adding water to rinse tanks and cleaning tanks.
• Keep precise records, sign witness lines, and maintain accurate inspection records as required by travelers.
• Utilize test equipment to verify the quality of plating results.
• Conduct visual inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Plate parts in accordance with the Pull Production system in the assigned area, using the correct cycles and working to keep tanks full.

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with plating & racking equipment, hoists, tank mechanical equipment, and power carts.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and diagrams.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a command of the English language.
• Preferred experience of at least 1+ years in plating.
• High School Diploma or GED.
