Quality Assurance Tech (56393)

HOURS: 1st Shift 

PAY RATE: $20-23/hr.+ DOE

An established Syracuse company is looking for a 1st shift Quality Assurance Tech to join their fast-growing team! In this role you will be involved with the planning and coordination of quality assurance programs and establishing quality control policies,

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality
• Analyze quality control test results and make recommendations
• Monitor performance of quality control systems and stop production if defects are present
• Produce reports regarding production quality and issues, root cause analyses, and trends
• Create and implement inspection and testing procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of related experience
• Familiarity with MRP Systems and strong computer skills, especially MS Excel
• Strong root-cause analysis skills
• Mechanical and basic math skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
