Quality Inspector (58346)

HOURS: 2^nd shift – 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
                Some Saturdays required

PAY RATE: $18/hr. 

A Central NY distributor is growing and is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to become a vital part of their team! 

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity to work for a company using your great attention to detail!. Great work environment with excellent benefits when hired on!

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conduct First Article Inspection on all new products and / or revised products
• Inspection throughout the entire manufacturing process including inspection of raw materials, parts, sub-assemblies and finished goods
• Ensuring appropriate action is taken when non-conforming material is found
• Ensuring all operators are processing or assembling material according to Work Orders 
• Documenting all performed inspections as well as all non-conforming product found during the inspection process
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to learn how to read engineering drawings
• Ability to be trained to use calibrated equipment
• Must have the aptitude for working in a distribution / manufacturing operation, 1 year experience preferred
