Quality Technician

Pay: $16-25 per hour - DOE
Hours: 6:30am – 3:00pm M-F (no weekends)

 

We are seeking a Quality Technician to join an exciting company in Auburn, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining quality control throughout the production process. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of test equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain inspection reports
• Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
• Perform inspections across all stages of production
• Prepare and maintain test data for review
• Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
• Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Solid understanding of test equipment and strong computer skills
• 2-5+ years of inspection and/or production experience
• Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
