Quality and Food Safety Specialist (60-90K)

We have an opening available for a Quality and Food Safety Specialist to work at an established company in the Syracuse, NY area.

Your Role:
  • The Quality and Food Safety Specialist will lead Food Safety Projects and report to the QA & Food Safety Manager
  • Investigate consumer complaints
  • Update procedures
  • Provide monthly reporting
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Conduct Food Safety training and compliance tracking
Education and Experience:            
  •  AAS or BS in Food Science, Biology, or related Science
  • HACCP and GMP knowledge
  • Quality Assurance experience within General Manufacturing or Food Manufacturing environments
