Senior Application Developer

Partial Remote available!

Salary range is $70-$115K DOE plus annual bonus!

We are partnering with a all-respected financial institution in Central New York to find a Senior Application Developer.

This role can be a partial remote position for someone in Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, or Ithaca! This outstanding organization offers excellent benefits and growth potential.

As the Senior Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premises applications. 

The Senior Application Development Manager works closely with a cross-functional team to ensure all business objectives are met. 

Key duties of this position include:

• Ability to produce, review and approve customer requirements and design documentation and product/release documentation that reflect internal standards and guidelines
• Fully understand the infrastructure, processes, and procedures of the organization relating to software development
• Be able to prioritize conflicting items, maintain a clear vision of the needs of the business, and be able to quickly and professionally address problems and recommend solutions that arise during the course of a project
• Perform testing and maintain development lifecycle documentation for audit compliance
• Keep abreast of changes in current technology that are related to ongoing projects and communicate as appropriate the impact of these to team members and management

Requirements include:

• 5 + years of experience working in this field

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required, advanced degree preferred
• Have experience working with and connecting to web service API's (REST, SOAP, etc.) and handling XML/JSON
• A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles
• Strong programming skills in C#/.NET, C++, Javascript, and Python
• Experience or a strong understanding of Microsoft SQL server, and SQL queries a plus

• Experience in modern UI frameworks and automation development would also be a benefit
