We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst in the Syracuse, NY area. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the development, design and analysis of business initiatives of process specifications and workflow on medium to high complexity projects for a successful financial services firm.

Starting pay rate $35-50/hr. DOE

Partial Remote Opportunity, you must be able to attend periodic meetings in the Syracuse, NY office.

Key duties will include:

• Create value to the business through data driven insights and analysis of spend and key vendor relationships. Review documents, conduct business discussions with company vendor managers, and use results influence behavior and help optimize spend
• Maintain effective working relationships and inform management of potential opportunities to optimize spend for the enterprise
• Implement and drive project management discipline to plan, execute and communicate project approach, priorities, status, and risk assessment to drive to key outcomes effectively and timely

Requirements include:

• BS degree and 8+ years of related work experience in data analysis
• Possesses understanding in the areas of business process models, system integration and workflow
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of business risk, vendor risk and overall controls mindset
• Demonstrated success as a leader in a large financial services organization
