Shipping & Receiving Associate

We're seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join an outstanding manufacturing company in Syracuse, NY.  This is a Direct Hire Opportunity offering $17-19/hour dependent upon experience.

In this role, you'll be a crucial member of manufacturing operations, ensuring products are packed with precision and shipped on time. We're looking for someone with blueprint and measurement skills that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, you'll also have experience with Quality Management Systems, crane/hoist operation, and crate building.

What You'll Do:

• Lift, move, and position products for finish painting operations.
• Pack finished products meticulously to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
• Pre-assemble finished products using hand tools, power tools, and simple hydraulic press.
• Build crates and pallets, applying appropriate shipping labels.
• Safely load finished products for transportation using hand, forklift, and pallet jack.
• Conduct final inspections and identify product nonconformities, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Follow proper safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
