What Will You Do?
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and improvement of new and existing electrical products. Your creativity and innovative mindset will help increase market share and profitability. Your main job duties will include:
  • Designing, developing, analyzing, and testing new and existing electrical products based on customer specifications
  • Engaging in ancillary New Product Development tasks such as competitive product reverse engineering, circuit simulation, PCB layout, and electronic component documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, project engineers, mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and laboratory engineers, to ensure timely product development and compliance
  • Providing technical support to production personnel for the release of new test programs, procedures, and equipment
  • Investigating and approving suppliers/vendors, new materials, components, and engineering practices
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards through collaboration with recognized test labs and regulatory agencies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Technology or equivalent experience will also be considered
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in new product design
  • Proficiency in component level, electronic circuit design with expertise in hardware, software, and firmware
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze product failures, and apply test results to design improvements and compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of component operation, including physics, and competency with IoT and/or RF hardware product development
  • Expertise in interpreting test, diagnostic, and development equipment readings
  • Proficiency with Altium, SPICE simulation, project management software, and programming abilities
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and contribute to multiple simultaneous projects
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with engineering design and project management software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization
