If you’re looking for a great new opportunity as a Treasury Reconciliation Analyst where you can have lots of visibility working with C-suite level team members of a prestigious Healthcare Insurance Company, this job is for you! This opportunity is a temporary contract for a Full-Time position working Monday through Friday and is eligible to become a permanent role within the organization. The contract period runs through June 16, 2022, and would work out of the Syracuse, NY office. Potential for a hybrid schedule with some remote work after training.

Compensation for the Treasury Reconciliation Analyst role will be $25 - $30/hr - depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the Treasury Reconciliation Analyst:

• Analyzing premium billing/claims receivable and reporting used to monitor and measure business activity
• Addressing discrepancies between premium/claims billing and payment
• Preparing operations reporting of all transactions to include recommendations for C-suite team
• Performing basic financial analysis (A/R, group/claims trends) and assisting in financial analysis for supervisory review
• Creating models to demonstrate recommendations for procedure changes based on analysis results
• Assisting with preparation of materials for annual independent audit and other quarterly and annual reviews
• Serving as operations department representative for new project implementation

Background Profile of the Treasury Reconciliation Analyst:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Finance, or Business Administration with a minimum of eight years of related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• In lieu of a degree, 12 years of work experience required with financial data and conducting financial analyses within finance or accounting
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access skills
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Healthcare industry experience preferred
